Premier League: Newcastle offered Ramsey again

Newcastle United has been offered the chance to sign Aaron Ramsey once more, with his current club Juventus willing to offload him before the end of the transfer window. Juve are desperate to get Ramsey's large salaries off their books before the end of the month, and a move to a Premier League team is allegedly the most likely option.

It comes as the Magpies continue to look for additional defensive alternatives, with Goncalo Inacio of Sporting Lisbon the latest centre-back to be linked with a move to St James' Park. However, Eddie Howe's side are thought to have been dealt a setback in their pursuit of Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno before the transfer market closes. Juventus are still trying to offload Aaron Ramsey and have offered him to Newcastle once again.
