At the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain and Strasbourg put on a fierce match that ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw. After being outplayed for a large portion of the game by Argentine forward Joaquín Panichelli, who scored twice and almost gave the visitors a historic victory against the defending Ligue 1 champions, Luis Enrique's team was able to salvage a point late in the game. PSG had a strong start to the game, taking the lead through Bradley Barcola following a clever play with Désiré Doué. Strasbourg, however, reacted resolutely. Panichelli demonstrated his killer instinct and set the tone for an outstanding individual performance when he levelled the score with a strong header off a cross from Guela Doué in the 30th minute.
The visitors, orchestrated in midfield by Valentín Barco and Julio Enciso, controlled possession and continuously threatened the PSG defense.
