It was an easy night for Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1 with a comfortable 4-0 thumping of Dijon at the Stade Gaston Gérard on Tuesday night.
The result saw PSG go 17 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand while Dijon continue to struggle in the relegation zone.
The league leaders got off to a flying start with the opening goal in the seventh minute after Marquinhos headed home a corner-kick, 1-0.PSG continued to dominate after taking the lead, but only managed to double their lead five minutes before the break when Kylian Mbappé fired home from just inside the box, 2-0.
Angel Di Maria scored PSG's third goal five minutes into the second half after spectacular long-range free-kick, 3-0 and at the 91st minute Thomas Meunier tucked home from close range after a swift attacking move by PSG, 4-0.
