PSG lost their battle with Leipzig

Last season PSG had defeated RB Leipzig 3-0 in the Champions League final but Leipzig got their revenge this season after all as the injury-ravaged squad was easy to beat on the Matchday 3 clash. PSG was on the move to make up for their defeat at the hands of Man Utd but will have to wait their turn with the long list of injuries from their squad-  which includes Neymar, Mauro Icardi, Marco Verratti Juan Bernat, and Kylian Mbappé. Even still Argentine star Angel Di Maria was able to provide PSG with an early lead six minutes in Red Bull Arena. But Leipzig's French midfielder Christopher Nkunku leveled the score in the 41st minute. Thereafter Swedish forward Emil Forsberg successfully converted a penalty in the 57th minute to have the match ended 2-1 in their favor. PSG suffered more loss with Idrissa Gueye and Presnel Kimpembe given a red card.
