Paris Saint‑Germain have reportedly begun negotiations with Ajax for Mika Godts, one of the Eredivisie’s standout performers last season. The 21‑year‑old Belgian winger delivered 17 goals and 13 assists in 34 league matches, emerging as a rare bright spot during a difficult campaign in which Ajax finished fifth with their lowest points tally since 1962. According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG view Godts as an additional attacking option alongside Maghnes Akliouche, who is close to joining the club.
Ajax are aware of the interest and, per VI’s Tim van Duijn, will demand around €60 million. Godts has already spoken with PSG’s technical director Luis Campos in Porto, where he was spotted on Friday. However, the winger told Ziggo Sport he remains committed to Ajax, stressing that he wants to compete for the title and feels the club’s structure is improving. Godts joined Ajax from Gent in 2023 and has since produced 25 goals and 23 assists in 113 appearances.
