PSV Eindhoven and Braga cruised to victory

Sparta Prague and Copenhagen were unable to distinguish themselves in their heated contest at Parken in Denmark. Teams are competing for a position in the play-off round in the hopes of winning a group stage spot for the competition's 2023/24 season. PSV Eindhoven defeated Sturm Graz 4-1 in Holland, putting them in contention for a place in the 2023/24 Champions League group stages.

The Dutch team dominated the first half, scoring three goals in 32 minutes, thanks to an early opening from Isaac Babadi and a brace from Luuk de Jong. The Austrians pulled a goal back just before halftime, but Ibrahim Sangare scored a fourth with 20 minutes remaining to put the tie solidly in PSV's advantage. Sparta Prague goalkeeper Peter Vindahl Jensen made a spectacular double save to deny Copenhagen from scoring in their 0-0 draw at Parken in Denmark.
