PSV Lens 1-1 draw

The 65th minute of the Group B match saw Wahi knock in an equaliser after a cross from Przemyslaw Frankowski. Dutch visitors had taken the lead thanks to Johan Bakayoko. Nine minutes into the second half, the 20-year-old Belgian attacker scored his first Champions League goal with an angled effort inside the far post. Lens defender Kevin Danso stated, "I would have wanted to win the game; that was the aim, but... pleased of the squad for fighting back after being down 1-0.

Hirving Lozano, a striker for PSV, struck the post of Brice Samba's goal with another angled attempt in the first half after surviving initial pressure from Lens. With a win and two draws, Lens has now gone three games without losing in the Champions League. After the 1998-89 and 2002-03 seasons, this is the club from northern France's third appearance in Europe's elite club tournament.
