PSV study Wijnaldum return

Wijnaldum's move to PSG might have been a mistake. Last summer, he had been strongly linked with Barcelona and he ended up joining the Parisians for three seasons. However, he did not do particularly well in the first of them. Therefore, PSV are thinking of offering him the opportunity to return.

'Eindhovens Dagblad' reports that although the deal looks a difficult one. He has a contract until 2024 and the Eredivisie club will have to put an offer on the table which satisfies the French side. Due to PSG's very good finances, it will be difficult for any offer to be far too good to refuse.

That said, the French project is taking a new coutse which even leave Neymar out of the squad. That means the way negotiations are handled could change and the club may be happy to let the midfielder go.
