Rangers return imminent for Ridvan Yilmaz and Ben Davies

The left-sided duo did not make the journey to Rugby Park, with the young Turk in particular missing out. Almost nothing was generated down Rangers' left flank, and the manager will be counting down the days until both Ridvan Yilmaz and Ben Davies are fit again, with their comeback dates disclosed on the club's official X site. Borna Barisic was a significant issue against Kilmarnock, offering absolutely nothing in the final third.

The Croatian didn't even stoop to his typical tactic of just putting crosses in, which may have come in useful with an assault containing three players taller than 6ft. In comparison to Ridvan, Barisic was nearly an empty jersey. Ridvan Yilmaz and Ben Davies have both been linked with transfers away from Rangers. Until the Rangers get Ridvan back, Barisic will be the primary choice at left-back, and Beale won't be able to experiment with Davies there either.
