Rangers striking option to replace Kemar Roofe

Roofe's injury was the last thing Rangers fans wanted to hear when Giovanni van Bronckhorst spoke to the media on Friday.

With Alfredo Morelos already out for the season, they were relying on Roofe to fire them to glory in the Europa League as well as keep their slim title chances alive.

But now he's set to miss three huge games against Motherwell, RB Leipzig and Celtic.

So what does van Bronckhorst do now? He's got a big decision to make for all three games on how he sets his team up.

This is the most likely one to happen over the next three games. With Roofe out, Fashion Sakala is the obvious option to fill in at centre forward.

He's a very different striker to Morelos and Roofe but he does have the qualities to cause problems, particularly against Motherwell as he's shown earlier in the season.
