Ranieri likes the rumors linking Drinkwater to Manchester United

As a manner of good publicity, having the local or international press producing a constant rumor mill about any Leicester City player being related to big clubs in Europe can have a positive effect on the squad. If you look at this in a positive perspective, having players who are wanted by the bigger fish is something that brings the Foxes more prestige. The latest man to be linked to a major contender is Danny Drinkwater who has been on Manchester United's radar for some time now.

But Claudio Ranieri looks at this in a positive manner ahead of next weekend's match against the Red Devils: "I'm very surprised because it often happens a month before the open of the market, not now. He signed a new contract and everything is normal. But it's good for him, for us, when I have players who a lot of big teams want. It means we're working very well.

"Sometimes I think, maybe the newspapers don't have enough news and they write some. It's okay. One year ago, nobody was asking about our players. Now there are big, big teams. My players must be very proud about this but maintain their way.  If something happens, it's okay, but he signed a new contract and he doesn't have a clause. We don't want to sell anybody."
