Serbian Club Red Star Belgrade are expected to announce the signing of Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila.
The center-back has successfully undergone a medical pending his signing.
Sumaila is expected to become the fourth signing for Red Star Belgrade ahead of the new season after Nikola Stojiljković, Milan Jevtović and Zoran Popović.
The 25-year-old attracted interest from Red Star Belgrade after his consistent form with Kuwaiti Club Qadsia SC.
The Ghanaian international will be joining his first European Club having featured for South African side Mamelodi Sundowns and Al-Gharafa in Qatar.
He previously played for Ghanaian sides Ebusua Dwarfs and Asantet Kotoko.
The 2011 Ghana best defender is joining Red Star Belgrade as replacement for fellow Ghanaian Akwesi Frimpong who left to Hungarian Club Ferencváros.
