Tyler Adams, a US international netted his first Bundesliga goal on Saturday. However, RB Leipzig suffered a defeat to their title hopes. As they had an astonishing 3-2 defeat. They are just an inch away from club Mainz.

Adams, the 21-year-old opened his German league account with a tap-in. He pounced on the rebound.  It happened just after Marcel Sabitzer hit the bar. He did it to put Leipzig ahead early on.

A fumble from Peter Gulacsi, goalkeeper allowed Moussa Niakhate to equalize for Mainz. But Marcel Halstenberg restored the lead quickly.

However, before half-time, Niakhate equalized for a second time. It happened before Leandro Barreiro turned in a Danny Da Costa cross. He did it just after the break to hand second-from-bottom Mainz. It was merely their second triumph this term.
