Real Madrid players updates

Alvaro Odriozola, a right-back who is unpopular under Carlo Ancelotti, may be one of the players to go since Real Sociedad is interested in re-signing him. Reinier is another player not in Ancelotti's plans; if he stays at Real Madrid for the remainder of the current campaign, there has been chatter this week that the Brazilian may be dropped to Castilla. Fabrizio Romano, however, reports that he is expected to sign with Serie A team Frosinone, so it looks that he will now be on the move.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2020, Reinier has had difficulty. He hopes to make an impression at Frosinone after underwhelming during previous loan stints at Borussia Dortmund and Girona. Reinier will return to Real Madrid next summer because there won't be a purchase option, and he'll be hoping to have made progress at the club by the time he gets back to the Spanish capital.
