Real Madrid whipped Granada 4-1

Returning after the international break in style, Real Madrid grabbed an easy win against Granada to return to the top of the La Liga table. Vinicius, Nacho, Mendy, and Asensio all etched their name on the score sheet on Sunday to see off Real Madrid to win. Marco Asensio and Nacho Fernandez had first handed Madrid a good lead inside the initial 30 minutes at Los Carmenes with two goals.

Granada did answer with Luis Suarez’s goal to pull one back but lacked the discipline to defend against Real Madrid. In the second half, Vinicius Junior and Ferland Mendy put the game out of reach for Granada, who saw Monchu leave them stranded on the field with 23 minutes left to play with a red card. Granada on the other hand sits eighteenth on the table and cannot afford to lose matches.
