Real Sociedad thrashed 3-0 Valencia

Takefusa Kubo gave the hosts the lead early in the eighth minute of this match, repeating the defeat Valencia experienced the previous time La Real triumphed at Reale Arena. For the majority of the game, the score stayed 1-0 until Orri Oskarssson made a late run to score a double and give the home crowd some hope.

Valencia, which has only won once in its last eight games and is currently ranked in the bottom three, was extremely disappointed by the loss. Valencia CF kept up their defense, creating few and far between chances in the latter third. Jesús Vázquez was substituted for Thierry Correia by Rubén Baraja in an early change, and seconds later, Valencia CF survived another fright when Real Sociedad's Aguerd struck the crossbar. At the half, Valencia CF was behind Real Sociedad 1-0.
