Real Sociedad’s winless draw with Las Palmas

In the first few weeks of the league season, La Real has yet to pick up a victory; instead, the Basque squad has three draws from three games. In order to prepare for their return to the Champions League next month, Imanol Alguacil's team is not in the best possible position. In 2023/24, the visitors only scored two goals in the league, which was clear from the get-go at Las Palmas. Early on, as La Real attempted to withstand the pressure before halftime, the home team twice struck the woodwork.

After the break, the trend persisted, with the away team wasting the opportunities that were provided to them while Alex Remiro made a series of crucial saves to preserve a draw. Prior to the international break, Real Sociedad will play Granada at home, while Las Palmas will travel to Girona.
