REPORT: Inter Allies 4-2 King Faisal

Two quick goals from Samuel Armah and Michael Gyamerah in the dying embers of the game secured all three maximum points for Inter Allies at the expense of King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It was the host that took the early initiative as their persistent pressure paid off with a fine goal from skipper, Victorien Adebayor with just 16 minutes of play.

Inter Allies resilience and beautiful play dazzled King Faisal as they struggled to keep up with play  -  Samuel Armah punished the visitors with the second goal of the game to end the first half 2-0.

King Faisal found their way into the game with a goal through their top scorer this season, Ibrahim Osman after Inter Allies goalkeeper, George Apronti fumbled with a cross.

Mohammed Mustapha, a second half substitute restored parity for King Faisal with just 4 minutes after the first goal.

King Faisal took charge of the game after the introduction of former Kotoko midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei as Inter Allies struggled to catch up.

Two quick goals from Samuel Armah and Michael Gyamerah on the 86th and 90th minute respectively secured the points for a below average Allies’ side as they got their second win of the campaign.

For King Faisal, their elusive first win would have to wait for another week.
