Roberto De Zerbi confirmed extended training camp for Champions League

Thanks to this impressive win, Marseille has reclaimed the second spot in the Ligue 1 standings. Earlier in the day, AS Monaco settled for a disappointing draw against RC Strasbourg, finishing 0-0. After suffering five defeats in their last seven matches, the Marseille squad is eager to continue their pursuit of Champions League qualification.

To that end, De Zerbi has opted to take his players away for a prolonged training camp, an initiative initially reported by a prominent source and later affirmed by the Italian during the press conference.

"As a club, we have put everything in place to achieve our goals. The idea was for us to come together, as we know what needs to be done on the field. However, we also wanted to strengthen our team spirit and enhance unity. The squad has always displayed resilience during critical moments," De Zerbi stated confidently.
