Roberto Pereyra is trying to decide on his next step

The Italian teams may still bring in players who have expired contracts even if they are no longer authorised to recruit fresh players from other clubs. On June 30, Pereyra's contract with Udinese was let to expire, and he has yet to find a new home. This summer, the 32-year-old has been connected with a number of teams, including Salernitana, Torino, and freshly promoted Cagliari under Claudio Ranieri.

Another choice would be to return to Udinese on a lower wage, or to Parma in Serie B. Early on, Inter had a meeting with a Pereyra official, but nothing much came of it. Although no formal proposal has yet been made, Calciomercato.com reports that the Saudi Pro League is also interested. The 224 Serie A games the Argentine international has played in have resulted in 25 goals and 34 assists.
