Roger Fernandes is already attracting major transfer attention

Al-Ittihad’s Roger Fernandes is already attracting major transfer attention just months after arriving in Saudi Arabia, with Nottingham Forest among the clubs monitoring the teenage talent, TEAMtalk reports. The 19-year-old winger joined the Saudi Pro League giants from SC Braga in September 2025 for €34.5m (£30m, $41m). Despite the big-money move, he has quickly become a player of interest across Europe. Premier League and La Liga sides are closely tracking Fernandes, impressed by his blistering pace, sharp dribbling, and eye for goal.

His transfer to Al-Ittihad followed a summer filled with speculation, as several European clubs attempted but failed to secure his signature. Nottingham Forest were among those suitors and remain intrigued by his development. With Fernandes adapting quickly to life in Saudi Arabia, his rising profile suggests Europe’s elite could soon test Al-Ittihad’s resolve.
