Roma drew up with Verona

Hellas Verona had almost overpowered Roma at Stadio Olimpico but Jose Mourinho’s side had other plans at they forced a comeback from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 in the dramatic finisher while Giallorossi’s boss once again picked up a straight red card in the stoppage time.

Roma faced a tough time on the field on the back of several serious injuries that left them without key players, soon after Antonin Barak had given Roma their first blow of the day in just five minutes and Adrien Tameze had doubled their lead in the first half itself making sure Roma had to sweat in the second half. Later Mourinho introduced 18-year-old Cristian Volpato and 19-year-old Edoardo Bove onto the field and they changed the momentum of the match in Roma’s favor as they scored twice to level the score.
