Roma may remove Florent Ghisolfi

There are rumours that Roma may remove Florent Ghisolfi, their director of sport, and reinstate Frederic Massara.

Massara abruptly left French team Stade Rennes following just one season in Ligue 1, raising rumours in recent weeks that he would be returning to Serie A for Juventus. Prior to then, "Ricky" had been fired by Milan following four seasons, joining Paolo Maldini in a complete purge. From 2011 until 2019, he spent the most of his career with Roma in a variety of positions, including two periods as director of sport. According to Matteo Moretto, Radio Sportiva and Retesport, Massara is now likely to head back to the Trigoria training ground for a new experience. That would mean the removal of current director of sport Ghisolfi, who had only taken the job in 2024.
