Jordan Veretout, a former Roma player, could continue his career in the Premier League, with Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur vying for his signing. Both clubs are said to be planning January bids for the French midfielder, with the Giallorossi hoping to keep its first-teamer. The Magpies are preparing a big offer to persuade Roma to trade Veretout in January. Newcastle's new owners might make the club one of the main players in the winter transfer window as they try to save their Premier League status in the second half of the season.
