Roma was not their best self on the field with signs of lethargy clearly visible in their performance and ended up losing the match against Napoli who surprisingly could not cut through a slow Roma and find the net more than two or three times but remained satisfied with the two-goal lead. Ibañez kept a good sheet in yesterday’s match with four interceptions, two tackles but he has a long way to go to really be known as Roma's next great defender. He did have four fouls during the match and one of its basically gift-wrapped a goal to Napoli, as it led to Dries Merten's first goal for Napoli.
Bryan Cristante was lethargic as well though not as much as his defensive partner as he struggled to defend against Napoli’s forwards. Stephan El Shaarawy did well with four key passes and a possible assist to Lorenzo Pellegrini, who could not push his header into the goal.
