Cristiano Ronaldo’s comeback could hardly have been more influential. After 34 days sidelined, the Al‑Nassr captain struck twice in a 5–2 win over Al‑Najma, reaffirming his decisive presence and lifting his career tally to 968 goals. The match proved far trickier than expected, with Al‑Nassr conceding just before the interval. Quick strikes from Abdullah Al‑Hamdan and Sadio Mané flipped the score, only for the visitors to equalise early in the second half. At 2–2, Ronaldo took control. He restored the lead with a composed penalty in the 56th minute, then added a second in the 73rd by finishing a flowing move down the right, effectively sealing the result.

Substituted late on, he watched Mané add a fifth, but the night unmistakably belonged to him. His brace not only rescued Al‑Nassr at a delicate moment but also brought him another step closer to the historic 1,000‑goal milestone that now feels increasingly attainable.
