Al-Nassr claimed a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Al-Riyadh FC on Monday, triumphing despite Cristiano Ronaldo's absence. Sadio Mane and Joao Felix combined effectively to secure three vital Saudi Pro League points. Jorge Jesus' side controlled much of the contest, finally finding the breakthrough in the fortieth minute. Felix delivered a pinpoint cross from the right flank, allowing Mane to finish past the goalkeeper.

This decisive goal sealed Al-Nassr's fifth consecutive league win, lifting them to 46 points and provisionally first place. However, rivals Al-Hilal could reclaim the top spot later today. Ronaldo’s omission remains controversial; reports indicate the Portuguese forward is unhappy with management and the Public Investment Fund, believing they favor Al-Hilal. Nevertheless, travelling supporters at Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Stadium repeatedly chanted his name, highlighting his enduring influence. Al-Nassr proved they can win without him, yet the internal friction regarding their superstar captain looms over their title charge.
