Sam Beukema, a centre-back from Bologna, another Serie A team, has officially joined Napoli on a permanent basis. Bekeuma has officially joined the Partenopei on a five-year contract that would pay him an estimated €3 million per season until the summer of 2030.
It is believed that Napoli has decided to compensate the Dutchman with bonuses of €30 million. Beukema joins Kevin De Bruyne, Luca Marianucci, Noa Lang, and Lorenzo Lucca as Napoli's sixth new acquisition of the summer transfer season. A few minutes before the announcement from the club's official channels, President Aurelio De Laurentiis was the first to formally reveal the news with a tweet that stated, "Benvenuto Sam," as is typical with Napoli signings. The 26-year-old defender joins Napoli after a two-year spell in Emilia-Romagna with Bologna, during which time he made 80 appearances across all competitions, including all eight games in the club’s historic Champions League campaign last season.
