Jadon Sancho is increasingly open to a return to Borussia Dortmund, with sources indicating that the Bundesliga club have held positive early conversations about a reunion. The winger is on loan at Aston Villa from Manchester United, but his long‑term future is unresolved as he prepares to become a free agent. United will not extend his contract or continue covering his £250,000‑a‑week wages, meaning the twenty‑six‑year‑old could leave for nothing just five years after his £73 million move from Dortmund.

Despite inconsistent spells at Chelsea and Villa, Sancho has consistently delivered in Germany, and a return is viewed as the ideal environment to reignite his career. Head coach Niko Kovac has already approved the idea, with Dortmund targeting value signings as part of a summer rebuild. Villa would consider keeping him, but Dortmund are currently leading the race as United prepare to move on from a disappointing chapter.
