Schalke and Stuttgart held each other to a 1-1 draw

The visitors VfB Stuttgart held the hosts Schalke 04 back at a 1-1 draw making this Schalke’s 22 Bundesliga matches with no win. It was only last week when the Royal Blues sat at the first position on the table. They looked deadly at the start with 19-year-old Malick Thiaw smashing in a header from afar 30 minutes in the game. While for the visitor’s handball by Salif Sane gave them a penalty which was converted by Nicolas Gonzalez in the 56th minute to match the score. Stuttgart’s aggressive stance was visible during the second half while Schalke held their ground with the help of goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow’s late saves. Stuttgart climb to fourth place with 9 points and Schalke is at 17th place with two points.
