Sensational: Hoffenheim can qualify for Europe

The Bundesliga 2023/24 is coming to an end and there are only three rounds left to play. Although the champions, Bayer Leverkusen, are already known, there are still a number of things to be decided, including the European qualification places.

The Champions League spots have already been decided, with Germany having secured an extra place, meaning that the fifth-placed team will mathematically qualify for the Champions League. However, the fight for Europa League and the Conference League is more alive than ever. Hoffenheim, who sit 9th, have a chance of reaching both competitions.

However, this fact does not hide a poor statistic for Pellegrino Matarazzo's side. The team is the second team in the entire Bundesliga with the most goals conceded, with a total of 64. They are only surpassed by Darmstadt, who, curiously, are bottom of the division.
