In the Italian Serie A, Sampdoria triumphs over Hellas Verona by 3-1 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday. In the 13th minute, Darko Lazovic netted for the Hellas. In this Verona-dominated initial half, the visitors took the lead when even a quarter of an hour was not gone. It was not-so-good initial half for the Sampdoria.

After the restart, within a minute Jabuk Jankto made a goal. This was before Manolo Gabbiadini turning the match from the penalty spot. Yet the win wasn’t sealed. When only 20 minutes were left, Balde raced in and forced a penalty after the challenge from Adrien Tameze. Then, Gabbiadini stepped up and put Sampdoria ahead. After the goal by Morten Thorsby in the 82nd minute, Sampdoria was sure of a win comfortably.
