Serie A: Crotone defeated Verona 2-1

Adam Ounas scored the opening goal after just a minute and sixteen seconds and set up the other as already relegated Crotone beat Verona 2-1 to move out of the last place in Serie A.

Adam Ounas created the opportunity for the second goal in the 75th minute by passing to his teammate Messias, who made it 2-0 for Crotone. For Verona, Koray Gunter’s header from a corner deflected into the goal post off Salvatore Molina pulled on back in the 87th minute and made it 1-2.

In this season of Serie A, Crotone already conceded 91 goals, equalling the all-time record set by Casale. With this victory, Crotone are in 19th place with 21 points from 36 games, whereas Verona are on10th with 43 points. Crotone is one point ahead of last-place Parma
