Sevilla found a close win after a 7 goal thriller against Celta

Sevilla kept their hopes alive for the title race with a close 4-3 win over Celta Vigo on Monday. With Atletico Madrid dropping points the race that once seemed to have a clear winner insight has become a bloody battle with the top teams at their best to seize the title. Sevilla is 6 points behind Atletico, fourth on the table while Celta is 10th on the table.

The seven-goal thriller forced Sevilla to come back twice to ultimately win the match with close competition by Celta. Jules Kounde gave Sevilla an early lead, Iago Aspas then scored twice for the host to put them in the lead but Fernando forced their first comeback as Sevilla leveled the score. But the first half thriller ended with Celta taking the lead with Brais Mendez’s goal. Ivan Rakitic and Papu Gomez later scored to give Sevilla a well-fought win.
