Sevilla is off to a perfect start with one more win

Sevilla defeated Getafe 1-0 on Monday to match the La Liga champions Atlético Madrid’s record at the top with two back-to-back and six points to showcase their hard work in two weeks. New recruit Erik Lamela once again became the savior for Sevilla netting his third goal in two matches to hand Sevilla another win in the Spanish league. While the match seemed to be heading towards a draw Lamela took advantage of the stoppage time and headed home a rebound from Rafa Mir’s shot.

The Argentine international recently moved from Tottenham and in his debut with Sevilla scored twice in the 3-0 win against promoted Rayo Vallecano in the opening match. Sevilla’s hunt for the title this season looks strong after they finished fourth last season. In another match, Osasuna remained goalless at home with Celta.
