Shan United signed three foreign players

The Taunggyi-based football club renewed the Ivoirian midfielder Maximin’s contract for one more season. The club also inked deals with Liberian striker Keith Nah and Ghanaian midfielder Yakubu Abubakar for one-season.

Keith Nah has played in Myanmar National League teams like Chin United, Yadanarbon FC and Ayeyawady United before and achieved top goal scorer awards in Chin United (2013) and in Yadanarbon FC (2016). He has also played for Kedah FA of Malaysia Super League in 2015 and SD Ponferradina of La Liga II in 2018.

The six-foot tall Ghanaian midfielder Yakubu Abubakar played for Zeyar Shwe Myay FC in 2015, for Ayeyawady United in 2016-2017 and he showed his decent performance as a key player in his last team Rakhine United in 2019.

Shan United will sign 4 foreign players this year and we’re planning to sign one more foreigner in this weekend.
