After realizing just how good Carlos Bacca might be for AC Milan this season, the Italian media started to point out many of his virtues and even started comparing him to club legend Andriy Shevchenko. The Ukraine former international didn't take long to respond and fully praised the Colombian forward for his quality and commitment with the Rossoneri. Sheva expects Bacca can take Milan back to its old glory days this season, there is no doubt in his heart this is possible.
Talking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Shevchenko said: "It's a great advantage for a club to have a striker who can solve the matches. After a few bad seasons there is much to rebuild and to have one with the goals is essential for a coach. But Bacca needs to do more, better read the collective situations, improve the team play. Only in this way will he make another leap in quality. Now it is early, he still needs continuity.
