Shock Christopher Nkunku talks

Following their public chases of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool seems to be making their transfer goals apparent. As Arne Slot's team attempts to successfully defend their Premier League title the following season, the Reds have made their intentions clear.

With the Dutchman's £30 million release clause about to expire, Liverpool is putting pressure on him to become the third player to sign under the former Feyenoord head coach. They are getting ready to compete with Bayern Munich and Manchester City for German sensation Wirtz. Even though the transfer window is only a few weeks away, it appears that Liverpool wants to finalise their deal as soon as possible. In light of this, the ECHO has examined recent reports from around Europe. The French website Foot Mercato claims that Liverpool is one of the teams attempting to recruit Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea.
