Shocking, Falcao is back in form

It sure will be almost impossible to return to his old self, that incredible striker who was compared to Messi and Ronaldo for a few years. Radamel Falcao knows that won't happen, but that doesn't stop him from continuing his search for El Tigre, that indomitable player who never gave up and constantly scored goals of all colors and shapes. We actually had given up on him, but this second straight match of him finding the back of the net gives us hope.

He gave another good performance this Saturday, he got a brace against Nancy for Monaco and spoke about the victory to Canal + Sport: "We showed the ambition of the club. Even when the team was leading 3-0, we kept trying to score. We played very well. It's good for everyone that Guido and Kylian have been rewarded. When the team needs them, it has these players."

It's clear by now that his main goal is to be called by Jose Pekerman to help Colombia: "But we must continue to play 100 per cent every game, because this championship is very difficult. Personally, I feel good. With the accumulation of minutes and matches, I will make further progress."

He spoke about teammate Mbappe as well: "He has great quality. But I think that we have to leave him to be to be himself. Time will allow him to become a great player, but let's leave him just now because he has great qualities."
