Ghanaian international Solomon Asante has been nominated for the most valuable player in the USL.
The winger must fend off competition from Thomas Enevoldsen of Orange County, FC Cincinnati’s Emmanuel Ledesma, Kharlton Belmar of Swope Park Rangers and Pittsburgh Riverhounds attacker Neco Brett.
Asante has been impeccable since joining Phoenix Rising after leaving Congolese Club TP Mazembe.
The attacker has bagged six goals in the United Soccer League for Phoenix Rising.
He is on his way to crown his outstanding season with the prestigious award.
Solomon Asante before moving to the State played for Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea where he won the domestic top-flight with the Club before joining Congolese Champions TP Mazembe and won the CAF Champions League with the Club.
