Solskjaer sacking shakes Man Utd’s January move plans

Manchester United completed the month of January and let the transfer window pass them by without signing a player, with Ralf Rangnick and the Old Trafford board opting to stay with what they have for the last a very long time of the period despite their inability to stick with wins this season. This season Red Devils fight for the Premier League's main four places with the hopes of title chase being a far-fetched dream for the side now.

Following quite a while of disturbance both on the pitch and off of it, the time was basically not ideal for United to shake things up. Solskjaer had planned an overhaul for the club before leaving with plans to sell off as many as seven main players. Only Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial got their hand on loan moves to Everton and Sevilla respectively. While United denied Lingard and Phil Jones an opportunity to leave the club.
