South Korea 2-3 Ghana

The dubious coupling of South Korea and Ghana procured one of the most thrilling games of the tournament so far in an exciting five-goal show displayed at the Education City Stadium on Monday afternoon. Ultimately, Ghana came out on top by 3-2 but they were standing close to the edge while Korea put up a tough fight but still could not secure the points.

South Korea began the game on a fiery note in the opening 20 minutes, with star player Heung-Min Son leading on their left wing. Although, they did not convert opportunities and were also unable to assemble any shots on goal from open play. On the contrary, Ghana started out somewhat lethargic, however, everything transformed in the 24th minute when snatched the lead. Mohammed Salisu flashed past Seung-Gyu Kim to secure the lead goal.
