Southampton are hoping for a double striker swoop

Southampton is hoping to land their third player from Chelsea before the new Premier League season starts in a week’s time. Saints are hoping to add two more strikers to their squad after Danny Ings' departure shook things up in the squad. The first man they have set their eye on is Chelsea striker Armando Broja, the almost 20-year-old who served his last season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem and netted10 goals with two assists in 30 games in the Eredivisie. Saints could even compromise with a loan deal on this one.

They also seek Giorgos Giakoumakis, he netted 26 goals for VVV Venlo in Holland last season, he was regarded as the top scorer in Eredivisie. Saints are desperate to fill the while Ings’ departure has left in the squad and have even considered Adam Armstrong of Blackburn as a replacement but no movement has been spotted there.
