As the Super Lig winners try to add an experienced goalkeeper, the 27-year-old Aaron Ramsdale has been linked to a move to Galatasaray in recent days. Since Southampton's relegation to the Championship was announced, the player's departure has been at least partially anticipated.

The Turkish team has been in touch with Southampton and the player to learn more about their requirements. Gala is trying to loan the goalie with a buyout option, even though Southampton is asking £20 million for him. Since Cimbom's contract expires at the end of this month, veteran goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has just said his farewell, and Ramsdale has surfaced as a potential replacement. Alisson of Liverpool has also been connected in recent weeks, but the Istanbul team has found it challenging due to the Brazilian's demands. Ramsdale, who has a contract with the Saints through June 2028, made 30 Premier League appearances the previous season.
