Southampton sealed a 2-0 win against Sheffield United

Southampton grabbed their first win in 10 matches with a 2-0 finish against lowly Sheffield United. They on the other hand have lost four of their last five matches and remain stuck to the bottom end of the table which has stayed the same ever since the season started. James Ward-Prowse first converted a penalty successfully in the first half while Che Adams on the other hand scored the second one that gave them a 2-0 lead over Sheffield.

Southampton got their hands on three points to add to their tally while the relegation threat for Sheffield becomes more and more a reality with each passing match. In another match, Leicester City finished 2-1 against Brighton with Kelechi Iheanacho leveling Adam Lallana’s early goal, until Daniel Amarty scored a late goal which saw Leicester in the lead and maintains their position on second place
