Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo reports that three La Liga clubs—Valencia, Getafe and Almería—have expressed interest in signing Al Ahly goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir. The rumour gained traction after media figure Ahmed Shobeir addressed it on his radio show, explaining that he had asked his son directly but usually receives confirmation only once situations become clearer. He acknowledged, however, that several clubs have been monitoring the 23‑year‑old’s progress.
What is certain, he added, is that Shobeir is represented by a Spanish agent from a major agency, the same group that facilitated Omar Marmoush’s move to Manchester City. According to Shobeir, discussions about a contract renewal with Al Ahly have been informal and have not advanced to negotiations. He stressed that Mostafa remains deeply attached to the club, coming from a family of lifelong Al Ahly supporters. Still, he noted that fans would welcome a significant European opportunity should one materialise for the promising goalkeeper.
