Amad Diallo has seen questions asked of his future at United, but the exciting winger wants to spend a "long time" with the Red Devils. As things stand, the 22-year-old forward is only tied to terms at Old Trafford through to the summer of 2025 – although that deal does include the option for a 12-month extension.
Amad saw his 2023-24 campaign decimated by injury, and was in and out of the United team under Dutch coach Erik ten Hag. Interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy handed him a starting berth for the first time in seven matches when the Red Devils faced PAOK, and saw that decision vindicated with a match-winning brace.
Quizzed on future plans after that continental contest, having previously expressed his willingness to enter into talks over a new contract, Amad said: "I’m happy to be here. I’m happy to play for this club."
