John Stones is close to completing a move to Inter Milan after ending his trophy‑laden decade at Manchester City. According to press, the Italian club has reached an agreement in principle with the England international, with only minor bureaucratic steps remaining before the transfer becomes official. Stones is expected to sign a contract running until June 2028, joining the Nerazzurri as a free agent and providing a major boost to their defensive options ahead of the new season.

The 32‑year‑old departs City after a historic spell that included six Premier League titles and a Champions League triumph, establishing himself as a key figure in the club’s most successful era. His arrival at San Siro is viewed as a significant coup for Inter, who have been seeking experienced reinforcements to strengthen their back line. Once the final details are completed, Stones will become the club’s latest high‑profile addition.
