Stuttgart chief sets final deadline for Bayern to complete Woltemade transfer

Bayern Munich have been pushing to sign Nick Woltemade this summer, but have so far been unable to reach an agreement with Stuttgart as differences over the striker’s valuation have prevented the two clubs from even entering formal negotiations.

With the two clubs set to meet in the DFL-Supercup on Saturday, Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle has made it clear he wants the saga resolved before kick-off.

“It’s been six and a half weeks now. At some point, enough is enough," Wehrle told Stuttgarter Nachrichten. “If you really want to sign the player, you should be capable of finding a solution in that time. We play the Supercup on Saturday. Everything should be settled by kickoff at the latest."

Bayern, who have already agreed personal terms with Woltemade, have previously seen a €55 million offer - including bonuses - rejected by Stuttgart.
