Terry hates the way Rooney is being treated

It's at least ungrateful the way that everybody is treating Wayne Rooney with all the criticism and demands, a part of the fans and press are even calling him out to retire from the national team. Rooney already came out and said he will retire when he damn pleases and he won't listen to the constant backlash coming from all over, but there is a lot of people who are defending him as well. His wife for starters, went on a Twitter rant last Monday due to all the negativity she saw towards her husband.

Former England skipper John Terry, also took his words to Instagram and called out all the haters for being so ungrateful to a man who has only given his everything to his national team. This is what he wrote: "Wayne Rooney England's highest record goalscorer in the history of our game. Soon to be the most capped player our great country has ever produced.

"One of the very best players I have seen and had the pleasure playing with in my lifetime and a man who has given everything for England. An absolute LEGEND at Everton,Man Utd,England and world football. We should all show more respect to this great player and man. Let's all get behind Wayne and the England team."
